About BBA (Foreign Trade) Course: 

BBA in Foreign Trade-Course prepare students for a professional qualification in Foreign Trade. It provides a solid base in the field of International Business, thus making it easier to acquire a leadership and managerial role in the business sector. The degree is designed to provide the student with a wide range of managerial skills while at the same time building competence in a particular area.

BBA Foreign Trade is a 3- year undergraduate program, aimed to develop an understanding of the fundamentals of foreign trade and its importance in the Indian economy. Students will learn EXIM policy of India, trade procedures, besides being imparted lessons in international trade bodies, multilateral agencies, and their role in foreign trade.

The course aims to train students in concepts and processes involved in operation of international business and its governing forces. It offers professional and experiential learning in the areas of International Marketing, International HRM, Logistics, and related areas. Students are exposed to various sectors through industry interface, export- import organizations and other organizations with global business presence.

Scope

BBA Foreign Trade course, particularly emphasises upon the knowledge and analytical skills required in business, with the focus on international management and global issues. Building on core knowledge of business issues, the program also aims to enhance the student’s personal development, team working and presentation skills.

This understanding helps to secure top executive positions and promotions. 

Course Duration: 3 Years (6 Semesters)

Eligibility: 10+2 or Equivalent with aggregate 50% marks. (Further details as per Guidelines of Higher Education Department of M.P.)

Choice Based Credit System and its Benefits:

University Grants Commission, New Delhi has introduced the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), where students have a choice to elect course from the offered courses. Courses are further categorized as Core, Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course, Generic Elective, and Specialization Elective. These courses can be learnt at their own pace and the entire assessment is grade-based on a credit system. The basic object is to address the needs of the students so as to keep up-to-date with development of higher education in India and abroad. CBCS aims to update the curriculum keeping pace with the liberalisation and globalisation in education. The Institute is one of the leading Institute of M.P. to introduce Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) as introduced by UGC, New Delhi.
