Ragging is illegal, inhuman and punishable offence. It is an evil in thecivilized society. Hon’ble Supreme Court and UGC have directed the educational institutions to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging.”The University administration and faculty are very serious about this issue. The purpose of this leaflet is to inform, both fresher and senior students about rules, regulations and punishments of ragging. All the students areinstructed to go through this leaflet and cooperate to eliminate the ragging completely from our Campus. It will be beneficial for the Institution, for the society, and for the future of the students. The fresher students are not to be ragged by senior students. Parents are requested to boost morale of theirwards and encourage them to report the case of ragging to the authorities.
