The MCA programme of the institute has been approved by RGPV, Bhopal.

The Mission of the University is to consolidate, rejuvenate and revitalize the existing system of Technical Education and to create an environment supportive of Quality Education and Research in the Technical and Engineering Institutions of the State of Madhya Pradesh. This is the only technical university of Madhya Pradesh which focuses on significant improvement of the quality of technical education. The university has affiliated more than 600 colleges of the state in its hold and more than  1 Lac students are enrolled.
